Glória Perez defende Nanda Costa das críticas


Glória Perez, 64, autora de "Salve Jorge", está insatisfeita com os comentários e críticas à Nanda Costa, protagonista da trama. Na quinta-feira (29), Glória concedeu uma entrevista à coluna de Mônica Bergamo, do jornal "Folha de S. Paulo", e falou sobre a reação do público à personagem Morena.

"É preconceito contra as meninas dessa origem. Nanda é uma atriz intensa, cheia de nuances. É a Morena que imaginei. A garota do subúrbio é palatável, está sempre nas novelas. A da favela, não. Morena é exatamente uma menina do Alemão. Isso assusta. Brasileiro é preconceituoso. O espelho incomoda", afirmou.

A autora também se mostrou incomodada com as comparações entre "Salve Jorge" e "Avenida Brasil": "Acho uma bobagem. Comparar o Complexo do Alemão com o Divino é uma insanidade. Não se compara subúrbio com favela. Vida de subúrbio é cadeira na calçada, venda do vizinho. A carta chega à sua casa. Na favela, carteiro não sobe. Isso que é retrato", contou.

Desde antes da estreia, a escolha de Nanda Costa como protagonista de uma novela das 21h da Rede Globo dividiu opiniões dentro da emissora. Havia os que apostavam que uma cara nova poderia trazer um ar de frescor à TV e aqueles que acreditavam que uma desconhecida não seguraria o peso de estar à frente da principal produção do canal.
